Access settings by clicking the gear icon next to the indicator name. Settings are organized into the following groups:

HTF Settings

This is the core configuration group where you define what timeframes to display.

Timeframe Toggles and Periods

Each of the six timeframe slots has three settings:

  • Display β€” Toggle this timeframe on or off.

  • Period β€” Select the timeframe using TradingView's timeframe picker (e.g., 5, 15, 60, 240, 1D, 1W).

  • Max Candles to Show β€” How many historical candles to display for this timeframe (default: 10).

Maximum Timeframes to Display

  • Setting: Maximum Timeframes to Display

  • Range: 1–6

  • Default: 6

This caps how many timeframes render on your chart, counted from Timeframe 1 upward. If you only want to see 3 timeframes, set this to 3 and only the first three enabled & valid timeframes will display.

Choosing Your Timeframes

A few tips for selecting timeframes:

  • Scalpers (1m–5m chart): Try 5m / 15m / 1H β€” gives you immediate structure context.

  • Day traders (5m–15m chart): Try 15m / 1H / 4H β€” covers intraday swing structure.

  • Swing traders (1H–4H chart): Try 4H / 1D / 1W β€” captures daily and weekly bias.

  • Multi-style: Use all six slots to see the full picture from micro to macro.
