Is this actually using AI?
AI Trend Insights uses adaptive algorithms that dynamically adjust to changing market conditions β similar to how machine learning models adapt to new data. It evaluates multiple market dimensions (trend strength, momentum, volatility, directional bias, and more) and synthesizes them into plain-language insights. The "AI" in the name reflects this intelligent, adaptive decision-making process.
Does it repaint?
No. AI Trend Insights generates its commentary based on confirmed bar data. The label updates on each new bar as fresh data comes in, but past signals are not retroactively changed.
What timeframe should I use?
AI Trend Insights works on any timeframe. However, higher timeframes (15m, 1H, 4H, Daily) tend to produce more reliable signals because they filter out intrabar noise. For scalping, the 5m or 15m chart works well when combined with a higher timeframe for directional bias.
Can I use it for automated trading?
While AI Trend Insights itself is a visual overlay indicator, its alert system can be integrated with webhook-based automation platforms. You can route alerts to services that execute trades on your behalf based on the alert messages.
The label is covering my chart. How do I move it?
Increase the Offset value in the indicator settings. This shifts the label further to the right, away from the active price action. You can also change the label's background transparency to make it less obtrusive.
Can I turn off the squeeze/chop lines?
Yes. In settings, toggle off AI Chop Scanner, AI Squeeze Scanner, or Squeeze Tracker individually to show only the insights you care about.
Troubleshooting
Label not appearing
Make sure Show AI Commentary is enabled in settings. Check that the chart has enough bars loaded.
Alerts not firing
Verify Enable Alerts is on in settings. Make sure you've created a TradingView alert with the condition set to "AI Trend Insights" β "Any alert() function call."
Label overlapping price
Increase the Offset value (try 20β30).
Too many alerts
Disable specific scanners (Chop, Squeeze) in settings to reduce alert volume, or adjust your TradingView alert to trigger only once.
