βοΈFrequently Asked Questions
What leverage levels should I use?
The defaults (100x, 50x, 25x, 10x) cover the most common leverage tiers used on major crypto exchanges. You can adjust these based on the asset you're trading:
Crypto: 100x, 50x, 25x, 10x (default) works well for BTC, ETH, and major altcoins.
Forex: Consider 50x, 25x, 10x, 5x since forex leverage tends to be lower.
Stocks: Consider 10x, 5x, 3x, 2x for equity markets with lower typical leverage.
Why are my zones not showing?
Check the following:
Ensure the relevant "Show Leverage" toggles are enabled in settings.
If using Pivots mode, the indicator needs enough historical bars to detect pivot highs and lows. Try reducing the Pivot Length.
If using Custom Price, make sure the entered price is reasonable for the current asset.
Can I use this on any timeframe?
Yes. The leverage liquidation zones work on any timeframe. However, the Liquidity Levels (previous day/week/month) will only display on timeframes equal to or lower than their respective period (e.g., daily liquidity levels won't appear on a weekly chart).
Why do zones sometimes jump or reset?
In Pivots mode, zones recalculate each time a new pivot high or pivot low is confirmed. This is by design β as market structure evolves, the liquidation zones should reflect the most relevant swing points.
What does it mean when a liquidity level line disappears?
When price trades through a previous high or low level, the liquidity at that level has been swept or purged. The indicator visually clears the line to show you that this liquidity has been taken. Remaining visible lines are levels where liquidity is still resting.
Best Practices
Don't trade zones in isolation. Use Smart Leverage Liquidity Zones as a confluence tool alongside your existing strategy β whether that's EZ Algo signals, order flow, or price action patterns.
Pay attention to zone density. When multiple leverage tiers stack closely together, that area is a high-liquidity zone with stronger magnetic pull.
Respect the sweep. When price enters a liquidation zone and quickly reverses, that's a liquidity sweep β one of the most reliable signals the indicator produces.
Adjust for the asset. Not every market uses the same leverage. Customize your leverage levels to match the exchange and asset you're trading.
Use the dashboard. Before every trade, glance at the dashboard to know the exact price levels where liquidations cluster. It takes two seconds and can save you from placing stops in dangerous areas.
