Q: Why do the SR line colors keep changing? The colors are dynamic. When price moves above a level, it becomes support (cyan). When price drops below, it becomes resistance (pink). This gives you real-time context.
Q: Can I use this on any asset? Yes. The indicator works on crypto, stocks, forex, commodities, and indices across all timeframes.
Q: Why do I see fewer levels on some charts? The number of levels depends on the price history available and the Strength setting. Assets with less volatile or shorter price histories may produce fewer levels. Try lowering the Strength or Period to see more.
Q: What's the difference between SR levels and Pivot Zones? SR levels are consolidated levels where multiple pivot points cluster together β these are generally stronger. Pivot Zones show individual pivot highs and lows, giving you a more granular view of recent turning points.
Q: Can I use this indicator alongside other EZ Algo tools? Absolutely. Support & Resistance pairs well with signal-based indicators for entry/exit confirmation, trend indicators for directional bias, and volume tools for breakout validation.
Troubleshooting
Lines are not appearing on the chart Make sure the SR On/Off toggle is enabled in settings. Also check that the Expand Lines direction is set to "Right" so the lines extend into the visible area of your chart.
Too many lines cluttering the chart Increase the Strength setting (e.g., from 2 to 4). This filters out weaker levels and keeps only the most significant ones. You can also toggle off Display Pivots if the pivot zone lines add too much noise.
Zones are too wide or too narrow Adjust the Zone Width setting. A value of 1β2 gives tight zones; 5β10 gives wider zones. The zone width automatically scales based on the asset's price range.
Labels are overlapping or hard to read Adjust the Label Position setting to push labels further right, giving them more space. You can also toggle off Show Price Labels or Show Pivot Price Labels if you prefer a cleaner look.
