Custom Alert Creator Guide
The Custom Alert Creator lets you craft personalized alerts by combining signals and trend changes from the script’s indicators. You can set up alerts for specific events, like 🔶 Buy/Sell signals 🔶 Trend shifts in Lightning Trend ⚡or Market Compass🧭 🔶 Reversal patterns, etc You can then decide whether these events should happen in a specific order (steps) or trigger independently.
How It Works
Choose Conditions: Enable up to six conditions to monitor:
Signals: Buy, Sell, Strong Buy, Strong Sell, or any bullish/bearish signals.
Lightning Trend ⚡: Uptrending, Downtrending, or switches up/down.
EZ Pulse🚀 : Similar trend changes.
Trend Navigator🎯: Trend Cloud-based trend shifts.
Market Compass🧭: Large Trend based trend changes.
Reversal Dots: Top or bottom reversal signals.
Candle Strength: Uptrend or downtrend strength.
Set Steps: For each condition, choose how it contributes to the alert:
Steps 1–10: Conditions must occur in the specified order (e.g., Step 1, then Step 2). Useful for strategies requiring a sequence, like a trend switch followed by a signal.
All: The condition must be true when the alert triggers but doesn’t need a specific order. Acts as a filter.
OR: The condition triggers the alert immediately when met, independently of others. Great for standalone alerts.
Invalidate: The condition resets the sequence if it occurs, useful for avoiding false signals.
Control Sequencing:
Invalidation Behavior: Choose how the sequence resets:
"None": No reset.
"Invalidate on Step 1": Resets if Step 1 conditions retrigger.
"Invalidate on Any Repeated Step": Resets if any step repeats out of order.
Maximum Step Interval: Set a bar limit between steps (e.g., 10 bars). If exceeded, the sequence resets. Set to 0 to disable.
Receiving Signal and Trend Change Alerts Without Steps
You can set up alerts to receive both signal alerts (e.g., Buy, Strong Buy) and indicator trend change alerts (e.g., Lightning Trend switch up, Reversal Dot Bottom) without using the step-based system. Here’s how:
Use "OR" Steps:
Enable the conditions you want (e.g., Signals and Lightning Trend⚡ ).
Set their steps to "OR" (e.g., Signal Step Set to "OR", Market Compass🧭 Set to "OR").
Example:
Turn on Signal with Type = "Buy" and Step = "OR".
Turn on Lightning Trend with Type = "Switch Up" and Step = "OR".
You’ll get an alert whenever a Buy signal occurs or the Lightning Trend switches to Uptrending, independently.
This bypasses the need for a sequence, allowing both types of alerts to trigger as they occur.
Use "All" Steps:
Set steps to "All" to require multiple conditions to be true simultaneously.
Example:
Turn on Signal - Set it to "Strong Buy" and Step = "All".
Turn on Reversal Dots with Set it to "Bottom" and Step = "All".
You’ll get an alert when both a Strong Buy signal and a Reversal Dot Bottom are true at the same time, without ordering.
This acts as a filter but doesn’t require steps.
Single Condition:
Enable only one condition with "OR" (e.g., Select Signal , Select the Type as "Buy", Select the Step as "OR", all others off).
You’ll receive alerts for that condition alone (e.g., Buy signals), effectively ignoring the step system.
Combine with Other Alerts:
You can use the Custom Alert Creator alongside Core Signal Alerts (e.g., Buy/Sell, TP/SL) and Any Alert Filters (e.g., trend crosses, reversal dots).
Example:
Enable Signal with "Buy", Step = "OR" in Custom Alert Creator.
