The Ribbon system consists of multiple exponential moving averages (EMAs) displayed on the price chart:

📊 Bands Breakdown:

  • Band 1 – Fastest responding EMA, closest to current price

  • Band 2 – Short-term trend

  • Band 3 – Short to medium term trend

  • Band 4 – Medium-term trend

  • Band 5 – Medium-term trend

  • Band 6 – Medium to long term trend

  • Band 7 – Long-term trend

  • Band 8 – Simple Moving Average, optional for a different perspective

🔍 Ribbon Behavior Insights:

  • Fanning out – Indicates a strong trend

    • Bullish when rising

    • Bearish when falling

  • Compression – Suggests consolidation or a potential reversal

  • Color changes

    • 🔵 Blue when price is above Bottom Band

    • 🔴 Red when price is below Bottom Band

  • Crossovers – Provide specific entry/exit signals
