🔔 Alerts Overview
EZ Algo™ features a comprehensive alert system that can notify you of various market conditions and signal occurrences.
⚙️ Basic Alert Settings
Enable Alerts: Master toggle for all alert functionality
Frequency: Choose between "Once Per Bar" or "Once Per Bar Close"
📈 Core Signal Alerts
Buy | Sell: Alerts for Buy/Sell signals with options for:
Buy | Sell | Strong: All signals
Buy Only: Only buy signals
Sell Only: Only sell signals
Strong Buy Only: Only strong buy signals
Strong Sell Only: Only strong sell signals
Long | Short: Alerts for Long/Short signals with similar filtering options
TP/SL Alerts: Receive notifications when price hits:
TP1: First take profit level
TP2: Second take profit level
SL1: First stop loss level
SL2: Second stop loss level
Recalculate TP/SL Alerts: Option to keep receiving alerts as levels recalculate
Trailing Stop Alerts: Notifications when price crosses trailing stop levels for either Buy/Sell or Long/Short signals
🧩 Custom Alert Creator
The Custom Alert Creator allows you to build sophisticated alert conditions by combining multiple indicators and settings:
Signal: Choose from various signal types (Buy, Sell, Long, Short, etc.)
ML Classifier: Filter by signal strength (1–5)
Indicator Conditions: Set specific conditions for:
EZ Wave: Uptrending, Downtrending, Switch Up, Switch Down
Trend Sniper: Uptrending, Downtrending, Switch Up, Switch Down
Phantom Cloud: Uptrending, Downtrending, Switch Up, Switch Down
Nova Trend: Uptrending, Downtrending, Switch Up, Switch Down
Reversal Bands: Within/Entering Upper/Lower Zone
Trend Strength: Greater Than, Less Than, Equal To a specified value
🌐 External Source Alerts
Connect with other indicators on your chart for complex alert setups:
Custom Sources: Define up to three external data sources
Alert Conditions: Set conditions like "Cross Above," "Cross Below," "Greater Than," etc.
Reference Values: Compare to specific values or other data sources
📨 Alert Message Settings
Customize alert notifications with:
Include Ticker Info: Add symbol name to alert messages
Include Timeframe Info: Include chart timeframe
Include Custom Text: Add your own message text
🧠 Any Alert Function
The "Any Alert Function" provides a consolidated way to trigger alerts from multiple conditions:
Signal Alerts: Buy, Sell, Long, Short, etc.
Indicator Alerts: EZ Wave crossovers, Nova Trend shifts, etc.
TP/SL Alerts: Take profit and stop loss hits
External Alerts: Custom conditions from external sources
🧭 Setting Up Effective Alerts
To create a well-structured alert system:
Identify Key Events: Determine which signals or conditions are most important for your trading
Set Priority Alerts: Enable alerts for your primary entry and exit signals
Add Confirmation Alerts: Set up alerts for confirming indicators
Include Risk Management: Enable TP/SL alerts to manage your positions
Use Custom Combinations: For sophisticated strategies, use the Custom Alert Creator to combine multiple conditions

The Alert Messaging will automatically include the Ticker / Timeframe & Price for your convenience.
Conveniently set up your custom alerts, set your messaging if you want to specify any notes for yourself. Then use the Alert Tab in TradingView:
