⁉️Frequently Asked Questions

What markets does Reversal Radar work on?

Reversal Radar works on any market available on TradingView β€” crypto, stocks, forex, commodities, and indices.

What timeframe should I use it on?

The Resolution setting controls the calculation timeframe independently from your chart. For swing trading, Daily or Weekly resolutions work best. For day trading, consider the 1H, 30M, or 15M resolutions. For scalping, the 5M resolution can provide fast-moving signals.

Can the trend line stay in the Pull Back or Pump Area for a long time?

Yes. During very strong trends, the indicator can remain in an extreme zone for an extended period. This is why confirmation is critical β€” don't assume a reversal just because the line has entered a zone. Wait for it to begin exiting.

Does Reversal Radar repaint?

Reversal Radar uses multi-timeframe security calls. The trend line value for the selected resolution will update as the current candle of that resolution closes. Completed bars do not repaint.

How is this different from RSI or other oscillators?

While Reversal Radar operates on a similar 0–100 scale, it uses a proprietary volume-weighted momentum calculation that factors in both buying and selling pressure. This makes it more responsive to actual market participation than standard RSI, which only considers price closes.
